Sandpiper

Sandpiper, our new boat, is a Heritage 36 Sundeck, hull number 22. Built in China in 2000.

She draws 4.5 feet, has a beam of 12.5 feet and is 36 feet LOA. The underbody is a semi-displacement Monk design with a keel to protect the rudder and prop. Displacement is 29,000 lbs.

Power is provided by a 220hp Cummins diesel; a bow thruster and now a new stern thruster helps in tight quarters.








Sweet & Easy

A Sceptre 36, hull number 36 and the last of the 36s built, was constructed in 1983 by Sceptre Yachts in Vancouver, BC. The boat was under construction when purchased so we were the original owners.

She draws six feet, has a beam of 11' 5",  a rated displacement of 12,000 lbs, a 5500 lb external lead keel, a skeg-hung rudder, an LOA of 35' 6" and a LWL of 29' 1". She is easily driven by her 597 sq ft of sail. Now living in Gorge Harbour, B.C., with new owners and a new name.
