Sailing In Pacific NorthWest

With Jack & Cassandra

Cassandra

With a bit of off-shore racing experience in Southern California and as skipper of a couple of day sailors and small power boats, Cassandra is at home on the water. A native Californian she has handled the transplant to the Pacific Northwest well, except for the snow and ice that sometimes happens. That is why we spend winters in south Texas where we run a DJ business.

Jack

Except for some brief outings in Hawaii, Southern California, the Bay area and Houston, my sailing experience has been in the Puget Sound area. My first boat was a Ranger 26, then a Ranger 29, next a Sceptre 36 and now, as we journey to the "Dark Side", the trawler, a Heritage 36.

We like to spend several weeks, usually in July and August, up in Desolation Sound, British Columbia, Canada.

On the Beach at Redondo Beach

Our friend, Michael Brown, of Michael Brown Digital Productions, took some pictures for us when we passed through Redondo Beach.
